Join us for a special evening exploring the life, writings, and spirituality of Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta (1865–1947), a Catholic mystic from Corato, Italy, whose spiritual diary and reflections have inspired many faithful around the world.
Luisa is best known for her writings on “Living in the Divine Will,” a spirituality rooted in the prayer Jesus taught us: “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Her writings invite Christians to deepen their union with God by seeking not only to do God's will, but to allow His will to shape every aspect of daily life through prayer, trust, and loving surrender.
Luisa Piccarreta bears the title “Servant of God,” the first step in the Catholic Church's canonization process. As with all private revelations, her writings are to be understood in harmony with Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the teaching of the Church.
This presentation by a local parishioner and student of Luisa's spirituality will provide an accessible introduction to:
• The life and mission of Luisa Piccarreta
• The meaning of “Living in the Divine Will”
• Her writings and private revelations within the context of Catholic spirituality
• Practical ways to incorporate this spirituality into prayer, family life, work, and everyday responsibilities
Whether you are already familiar with Luisa's writings or simply curious to learn more, this evening offers an opportunity to discover a spirituality centered on God's loving presence and the transformative power of His will in our daily lives.
