Liturgical Ministries

Participate and Serve in Parish Worship

At St. Patrick’s Parish, liturgical ministries are integral to our worship life. These ministries allow parishioners to actively participate in the celebration of the Eucharist and other sacraments, helping to make our liturgies prayerful, reverent, and welcoming for everyone who gathers. Each ministry serves the parish community with faith, dedication, and love.

Altar Servers

Altar Servers assist the priest during Mass and other liturgical celebrations, helping to ensure that the liturgy is carried out with reverence and care. This ministry is open to youth who wish to serve God and grow more deeply in their faith.

Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Mass, bringing Scripture to life for the parish community. Through prayerful preparation and clear proclamation, they help the faithful encounter Christ in the readings.

Eucharistic Ministers

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in the distribution of the Eucharist during Mass and may also bring Communion to the sick and homebound. They serve with reverence and a deep commitment to the sacredness of the Eucharist.

Welcome Team

The Welcome Team greets parishioners and visitors, assists with seating, collects the offertory, and helps maintain a prayerful environment during Mass. They are often the first friendly face people encounter when they arrive.

Liturgical Environment

This ministry prepares and decorates the church according to the liturgical seasons and special celebrations. Through thoughtful design and care, they help create a sacred and beautiful space for worship.

Funeral Ministry

The Funeral Ministry supports families during times of loss by assisting with funeral liturgies and offering compassionate presence. They help ensure that each service is conducted with dignity, reverence, and pastoral care.
