Preparing for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion

We are grateful that you have made the decision to grow in faith as a family and desire for your child to prepare and receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion. 

God has many graces planned for your family during this season of preparation. Together, we will discover the great gift and power of God's healing mercy in Confession and God's sustaining love in the Eucharist. During our in-person classes, we will journey through Ascension's Renewed and Received  resources, helping children and their families grow in their understanding of these beautiful sacraments and deepen their relationship with Jesus.

Please take a moment to register your child for this year's preparation experience:

A 6-session series on First Reconciliation in-person on the following days:

    • Saturday, November 7th
    • Saturday, November 14th
    • Saturday, December 12th
    • Saturday, December 19th
    • Saturday, January 9th
    • Saturday, January 16th

A 6-session series on First Holy Communion in- person on the following days:

    • Saturday, February 13th
    • Saturday, February 20th
    • Saturday, March 6th
    • Saturday, March 13th
    • Saturday, April 10th
    • Saturday, April 17th

Each class will be 1.5 hours in duration, with the following assigned timeslots

St. Patrick’s and St. Edwards schools – Group A: 9:30 a.m.
All Saints, San Lorenzo and non-family of schools – Group B: 12:30 p.m.

Sacramental dates and times will be provided in the new year, once the registration period has closed.

Registration Period

Registration is open from October 3, 2026 to October 17, 2026. Please note that Registration, Baptism Certificate, and Payment must be received by October 17, 2026.
Registration extensions will not be granted. Once you are registered, you will receive a communication by late October 2026 with all the preparation details.
