Prepare a Casserole to Address Food Insecurity
Casseroles prepared by volunteers are the focal point of Good Shepherd's meals-to-go, provided to about 200 individuals each afternoon from two to four. Without the support of our volunteers.Good Shepherd would not be able to meet the growing demand for accessible, nutritious food. Akilu Wendaferew, Executive Director, says: "It is with great appreciation on behalf of Good Shepherd that / thank all those who support this much-needed service that assists individuals who are struggling with homelessness and poverty."

Do you know a high school student?
This program is a great way to acquire community service hours. Students earn three hours of volunteer time for each casserole prepared. It's a fun way for students to give back to the community while volunteering conveniently at their own home and schedule. Sign-off for the hours is provided when the meal is delivered.
