What is the importance of parish ministry?
Ministry is an essential and integral part of spiritual growth. Ministry is the mission of the church that involves serving others and fulfilling the command of the Lord.
We are called to use our God-given time, talent and treasure – and involvement in parish ministry is one way to make use of such gifts. Involvement in parish ministry is a deeply personal and individual experience.
It is important to remember, however, that active participation in any parish ministry is a response to a call from God: a call to serve and a call to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ.
